If you know Lauren Grier...

you know she is a wonderfully creative digital scrapbook kit designer.  But did you know that Lauren is now hospitalized with blood clots in her abdomen? Apparently, they are quite large and she is in an extreme amount of pain.  She is a single mother of a young boy, as well.  The community over at Sweet Shoppe Designs is brainstorming about ways to help raise money for La (Lauren) so she can pay her bills while she is hospitalized.

There is an effort to raise money over in the forums at the Sweet Shoppe but really the best way to help, if you are so inclined, is to shop Lauren's personal store. Please consider perusing Lauren's store and making a purchase to help her during this uncertain time. 

The Digital Scrapbook community seems large but in a sense we are a microcosm of the larger world.  I know I have never met any of you but that does not lessen the friendships, concern and committment I have to this community.  I know each one of us will do what we can whether that is a personal email, a private PM, a forum post, a blog post, a kit purchase or continued prayers, it all adds up to cosmic and spiritual strength heading La's way.
